Cookie policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
1. Definition
Cookies are files or identifiers that may be stored on a user’s device while browsing.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
MEMBRE® Society uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to work: they cannot be disabled and do not require consent.
3. Authentication cookies
A secure session cookie (technical prefix “sb-”) keeps you signed in to your member, partner or administrator account. Without it, you would be signed out on every page.
4. Security cookies
These same session cookies help protect against unauthorised access and allow your session to be refreshed securely.
5. Session cookies
A cookie named “lang” remembers the language chosen for browsing, including in the authenticated areas that do not carry the language in the URL.
6. Audience measurement cookies
MEMBRE® Society technically integrates an audience measurement tool (Google Analytics), whose activation is subject to your prior consent through the consent banner. No audience measurement takes place before your explicit agreement, and your choice is stored on your device rather than through a third party cookie.
7. Third party cookies
When a payment is completed on the secure Stripe interface, Stripe may set its own technical cookies on its own domain, which are necessary for the security of the transaction. MEMBRE® Society integrates no other third party tool: no advertising pixel, and no measurement tool other than the one described in article 6.
8. Managing consent
Where consent is required, for audience measurement, a banner lets you accept or refuse it. Strictly necessary cookies are, by their nature, not subject to that choice.
9. Changing your preferences
You may change your preferences at any time through your browser settings, or clear the choice stored on your device so that the consent banner is shown to you again.
