1. Data controller

Melvin Sokambi, sole trader. 62 rue d’Amsterdam, 75009 Paris, France. Email: elite.membres.paris@gmail.com.

2. Data collected

Depending on the features used, MEMBRE® Society may collect: first and last name, email address, telephone number, account information, profile information, a profile photograph where one is provided, information relating to requests, information required for bookings, exchanges with MEMBRE® Society, technical data, data required for security, and information required to process payments.

Card details are handled by the payment provider concerned where Stripe is used, and MEMBRE® Society has no direct access to them.

3. Purposes of processing

Data may be used to create and manage accounts, authenticate members, handle requests, arrange services, manage bookings, communicate with members, process payments, maintain security, prevent fraud, improve the platform and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the processing concerned, data may be processed on the basis of the performance of a contract, pre contractual measures, a legal obligation, consent, or the legitimate interest of MEMBRE® Society.

5. Data recipients

Data may be disclosed where necessary to MEMBRE® Society, to the direct reseller concerned, to the direct provider concerned, to a technical provider, to a payment provider, or to a legally authorised authority. Only the information required for the purpose concerned is disclosed.

6. Direct resellers and direct providers

Where a service involves a reseller or a provider from the MEMBRE® Society network, only the information strictly required to deliver that service is passed on to them.

7. Technical providers: Cloudflare

Cloudflare is used in particular for certain infrastructure, network, security, DNS and delivery services.

8. Technical providers: Supabase

Supabase is used in particular for certain backend services, the database, authentication and storage.

9. Technical providers: Stripe

Stripe is used in particular to process payments where that option is available.

10. Retention periods

Data is retained for a period proportionate to its purpose and in accordance with applicable legal obligations. Certain data may be retained for longer where a legal, accounting or tax obligation, or the defence of the rights of MEMBRE® Society, requires it.

11. Security

MEMBRE® Society implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or unlawful disclosure.

12. User rights

In accordance with applicable regulations, users may hold a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability where that right applies, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on it.

13. Exercising your rights

Requests may be sent to elite.membres.paris@gmail.com.

14. Complaints to the CNIL

Users may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, if they consider that their rights regarding their personal data are not being respected.

15. International transfers

Certain technical providers used by MEMBRE® Society may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where necessary, the mechanisms provided for by applicable regulations are used.

16. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as MEMBRE® Society and the applicable regulations evolve.

17. MEMBRE® Private Industry Study

The MEMBRE® Private Industry Study is optional and open to professionals only. The information collected is the information the professional enters themselves: professional identity and contact details, company, website, social media, and their answers to the questionnaire about their activity.

These answers are used to prepare a confidential reading of their activity, to improve the services offered by MEMBRE® Society and to guide later conversations. No analysis is sent without prior human review and approval.

Consent to be contacted again is collected separately, dated, and may be withdrawn at any time. A one click unsubscribe link appears in every follow up message. Unsubscribing immediately stops all automated follow up.

The documents prepared from these answers, namely the confidential analysis sent to the professional and the internal briefing file, are never transferred or sold to third parties. The internal file remains strictly within the MEMBRE® Society team.

Where a meeting is proposed, only the date, time and time zone chosen by the professional are retained. No third party calendar is consulted or synchronised.

18. Private network between partners

A partner may look for a service from other MEMBRE® Society partners. MEMBRE® Society acts as the intermediary: the partner approached never receives the identity of the partner behind the request.

No data relating to the end client is collected or passed on in this context: the request describes a service being sought, never the person it is being sought for.

A client’s contact details are under no circumstances disclosed to another partner.

19. Partner showcase and referrals

A house appears on the public Partners page only with the partner’s explicit consent, given from their own space and revocable at any time with immediate effect. The page shows their name, logo, city, category and a link to their published listings.

Referrals rely on a personal link issued to the partner. Where a recommended house becomes a partner in turn, the partner behind the recommendation receives one month free. The link is used solely to identify where the recommendation came from.
